It was a tough week for my predictions. A bunch of surprising wins, some of which were flukes, and some of which should be indicative of the future.
Texans vs. Jaguars
Ravens vs. Bengals
Cardinals vs. Jets
Steelers vs. Eagles
Rams vs. Washington Football Team
Cowboys vs. Giants
Seahawks vs. Vikings
Saints vs. Chargers
Bears vs. Buccaneers
The Bears survived with only twenty points, as their defense came up big holding the dangerous Buccaneers to nineteen. Notably, Tom Brady forgot what down it was in what ended up being his last snap of the game.
Panthers vs. Falcons
The Panthers put together a seventeen point second quarter to pull ahead of the Falcons. After that, they never trailed. The Falcons are now 0-5, and after the loss they fired their head coach and general manager.
Raiders vs. Chiefs
Derek Carr outgunned Patrick Mahomes as the Raiders pulled an upset win. The Raiders exposed the Chiefs deep multiple times, and Carr has hit a 70%+ completion percentage in every game this season.
Dolphins vs. 49ers
Ryan Fitzpatrick was sensational in the 43-17 rout of the 49ers. He put up 350 yards, 3 touchdowns, and a quarterback rating in the 150s. The 49ers benched Jimmy Garoppolo midgame after his second interception.
Browns vs. Colts
The Browns continued their hot hand, as they beat the Colts, despite the subpar play of Baker Mayfield.
Titans vs. Bills
The Titans weren’t able to play or practice due to a small COVID outbreak on their team. Despite not having played they easily trounced the Bills.
Week 5 Record: 8-6
Season Record: 53-24
