Week 8 in the NFL can be a turbulent time. For some teams, division leads can be extended and playoffs can appear on the horizon. For others, draft preparation may begin. With the season nearing its halfway mark, SportsCastr News NFL’s Joe Noobo gave his picks for this pivotal week.
The premier match-up of the week is on Sunday when the Steelers travel to Baltimore to take on the Ravens. In a battle to determine the leader of the AFC North, this is sure to be a hotly contest rivalry game. The Ravens are currently 4-point favorites against the undefeated Steelers.
In another 1 o’clock match-up, the New England Patriots will travel to Buffalo to face the division-leading Bills. With only two wins on the year, the Patriots will need to come away with a victory if they have any hope of competing for the playoffs. SportsCastr News NFL’s Ray Rauth will surely be hoping for a Patriots win.
In the second window of games, the San Francisco 49ers play the Seattle Seahawks in another divisional rivalry. Since falling to the Miami Dolphins in Week 5, the Niners have looked like the team that came within minutes of winning the Super Bowl last year.
The SportsCastr News NFL team will continue to cover every game of the week. Outside of these close match-ups, there are sure to be upsets across the league. In a season that was threatened by COVID-19, we are truly blessed to have a great slate of games at the beginning of November.Tags: 49ers, AFC, Baltimore Ravens, Bills, Buffalo Bills, COVID, New England Patriots, NFC, NFL, Niners, Patriots, Pittsburgh Steelers, Ravens, San Francisco 49ers, SCN, SCN NFL, Seahawks, Seattle Seahawks, SportsCastr, SportsCastr News, Steelers, Super Bowl, Week 8 Last modified: November 2, 2020
