The Tampa Bay Buccaneers came into the Meadowlands as 13-point favorites over the New York Giants. Most fans across the NFL expected the Bucs to travel to New Jersey and annihilate the lowly Giants. This was not the case as the Buccaneers barely snuck away with a 25-23 victory on Monday Night Football.
SportsCastr News NFL’s Adam Armbrecht, Lawrence Owen, and Ray Rauth provided the pre and postgame coverage for a game featuring two lopsided teams. After demolishing the Packers and the Raiders in back-to-back weeks, the Buccaneers seemed to underestimate their next opponent.
When the dust settled at the end of the first half, the Giants were leading 14-6 over Tom Brady and the Bucs staunch defense. The second half saw a return to form for Brady and crew as he threw a touchdown to Rob Gronkowski and Mike Evans.
On their SportsCastr stream, the guys expressed surprise at a few of Daniel Jones’ plays. From his dreadful interceptions to his clutch throws on the final drive, the Giants signal-caller had a rollercoaster of a game. Jones threw a touchdown to Golden Tate with seconds left on the clock in the fourth quarter, only to lose on a failed two-point conversion.
In a crowded NFC East, the G-Men showed that they might have what it takes to compete for the division title. Battling against one of the top defenses in the league without your star running back is no easy feat. The SportsCastr News NFL team will continue to provide the coverage on what is sure to be an exciting playoff push.Tags: Brady, Buccaneers, Daniel Jones, Danny Dimes, Giants, Golden Tate, Green Bay Packers, Gronk, Gronkowski, Las Vegas Raiders, Meadowlands, Mike Evans, MNF, Monday Night Football, New Jersey, New York Giants, NFL, NFL Playoffs, Packers, Raiders, Rob Gronkowski, SCN, SCN NFL, SportsCastr, SportsCastr News, Tampa Bay, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tom Brady Last modified: November 3, 2020
