Banged up Patriots are short handed for Jets game

The New England Patriots are going to be severely short handed when they face off against the New York Jets on Monday Night Football.

The 2-5 New England Patriots are facing the 0-8 New York Jets, and even though this seems like the most likely game to snap the Patriots four game losing streak, they will have to do it without a lot of their regular starters.

It was announced Friday that CB Stephon Gilmore, LB Ja’Whaun Bentley, and DL Lawrence Guy, will all be out for Monday nights game. The Patriots will also be without RB JJ Taylor, WR’s N’Keal Harry and Julian Edelman (IR), and TE’s Dalton Keene and Devin Asiasi (IR).

Besides having a long list of players ruled out for Monday’s game, the Patriots also released an extensive injury report on Thursday, that indicates a lot of guys may be limited in the matchup against the Jets.
