As we approach Week 9 in the NFL, the playoff picture is slowly coming into play. While it seems likely that one of the Chiefs or Steelers will be the rulers of the AFC, the NFC situation is much more muddled. The Saints, Seahawks, and Buccaneers can all make a case in their games this weekend to take over the 1 seed.
SportsCastr News NFL’s Joe Noobo, Keith McPherson, Lawrence Owen, and Ray Rauth gave their preview for each of Sunday’s games. At 1 o’clock, the Seahawks travel across the coast to take on the Buffalo Bills. After beginning the season as an MVP candidate, Josh Allen must regain his form in order to keep up with Seattle.
The SportsCastr crew is also looking forward to the Steelers Cowboys match-up at 4pm. Keith McPherson’s Cowboys have been disappointing to say the least. Perhaps the team might be able to find a spark when the undefeated Steelers come to Dallas.
In perhaps the most riveting game of the week, Tom Brady and Drew Brees face off for the second time of the season, this time in Tampa Bay on Sunday Night Football. While Brady lost the first match-up, the Buccaneers will look to exact revenge on their division rival. Antonio Brown’s debut will add another interesting layer to this game.
From playoff previews to high-profile players making their return, the SportsCastr News NFL team is very excited about this slate of games. Some friendly rivalry between Noobo’s Ravens and Owen’s Colts will add intrigue to this week as well. Maybe even Keith’s Cowboys can get a win too!
