Sunday Week 10 Recap: Hopkins’ Hands & Danny Dimes’ Legs

Before the first kickoff on Sunday, Week 10 was already an abnormal week. Due to CBS’s broadcast of the Masters, it was the first Sunday to ever have more games occurring at the 4 o’clock slot than the 1 o’clock slot. Viewers soon learned that this wouldn’t be the only reason we remembered Week 10.

SportsCastr News NFL’s Joe Noobo, Keith McPherson, Lawrence Owen, and Ray Rauth had the Sunday coverage for yesterday’s games. The two top teams in the early slate, Tampa and Green Bay, achieved wins in varying degrees of difficulty. While the Buccaneers won in dominant fashion, it took a stand on the last drive by the Packers to knock off the one-win Jaguars.

Although he wasn’t featured on yesterday’s SportsCastr coverage, Adam Armbrecht was surely happy with yesterday’s result. The New York Giants, ignited by an early Daniel Jones touchdown run, defeated their divisional rival Eagles to move within one game of first place in the division. As the season continues, no team in the NFC East is seizing command of the division.

The most spectacular moment of Sunday’s action arrived at the very conclusion of the Bills-Cardinals match-up. After Josh Allen connected with Stefon Diggs with 30 seconds remaining, all hope seemed to be lost for the Arizona Cardinals. In what is most likely the play of the year, Kyler Murray launched a Hail Mary from his own territory on what would be the penultimate play of the game. Waiting in the endzone, Deandre Hopkins cleared three Bills defenders to come down with the ball, winning the game for the Cardinals.

This incredible catch capped off the non-stop action on Sunday. The SportsCastr team was still in shock as they prepared to cover the Patriots-Ravens game. Week 10 will finish with the Ravens and Patriots on Sunday Night Football before the Bears host the Vikings on Monday Night Football.
