Week 10 in the NFL was filled with electric moments. The Deandre Hopkins-Kyler Murray connection was just one fantastic play on a weekend that could come to determine playoff standings. After such an exciting slate of games, it was only fitting that Monday Night Football would feature two anemic offenses.
SportsCastr News NFL’s Adam Armbrecht, Lawrence Owen, and Joe Noobo gave the preview for the NFC North battle between the Chicago Bears and the Minnesota Vikings. After a 5-1 start to the season, the Nick Foles led Bears had lost three games in a row. On the flip side, the Vikings started 1-5, only to win back to back games prior to last night’s game.
Despite these recent trends, the SportsCastr team expected the Bears to pull off the upset. This belief was backed by the fact that Kirk Cousins was 0-9 on Monday Night Football before yesterday. When the dust settled, the Vikings came away with a 19-13 at Soldier Field.
Vikings star running back Dalvin Cook has been the driving force for Minnesota’s recent winning streak. Last night, however, it was receiver Adam Thielen who provided the two key touchdowns versus a staunch Bears defense. Nick Foles and Allen Robinson never developed a true rapport, resulting in only six offensive points for Chicago.
Kirk Cousins and the Vikings have now won three in a row while the Bears have lost four in a row. What once looked like a promising season for Chicago has come falling apart. The SportsCastr News team will be closely monitoring the NFC North standings heading into December.Tags: Adam Thielen, Allen Robinson, Bears, Chicago Bears, Dalvin Cook, Deandre Hopkins, Foles, Hopkins, Kirk Cousins, Kyler, Kyler Murray, Minnesota Vikings, Monday Night Football, NFC North, NFL, Nick Foles, SCN, SCN NFL, SportsCastr, SportsCastr News, Vikings Last modified: November 17, 2020
